"Succulent melon, pear and peach flavors are juicy and fleshy, accented with details of honeysuckle, green tea and toast, lingering effortlessly. Drink now." Wine Spectator
"Pale gold in color, the nose is a mélange of melon, stone fruit, strawberry leaf and oregano. The palate is full and rich, with an oily texture and flesh, melon fruit followed by a long, slippery finish."
"Combination of gravelly clay-loam and alluvial soils with high proportion of greywacke river stones. Mainly fermented with ambient yeast in old oak barriques before spending six months on the lees with minimal stirring. RS 8 g/l, TA 5.5 g/l. Pale greenish straw. Rather muted nose. Full bodied and only just lively enough to cope with the sweetness but it's a valid style for relatively early drinking. Reminds me a little more of good Friuli than Alsace. 16.5/20 points."
