"This vintage of top producer Framingham's irreverent “everyday drinking” label is another winner. It bursts with bright red-currant and cherry fruit, cinnamon, cloves, cracked pepper and drying violets with a savory earthy undertone. The palate is plush but neatly packaged with savory, focused tannins and crunchy berry fruit. The spicy French oak does show on both the nose and the palate but it adds rather than detracts. Drink this young and slightly chilled as a light alternative to charred barbecue fare."

"Juicy red fruit flavors are aromatic and intense, with notes of white pepper, green tea and cinnamon on a focused frame that arms up on the finish, while the flavors sail on. Drink now through 2028. 308 cases imported"
Vinous Reverie Notes
Winery: Nobody’s Hero Marlborough Pinot Noir is a fleshy, satisfying wine made in the Framingham way. Here, we prefer an elegant, “feminine” style of Pinot Noir with fragrance, charm and grace. Wine for those who just want to be themselves. Grapes from each vineyard were given a short cold soak period before fermentation commenced. Plunging was gentle and not too frequent, aiming to retain elegance in the wine. Dry wines remained on skins until the tannin balance looked approachable. Components were aged in new (13%) and used French barriques for seven months. Bottled without fining or filtration. Tasting Notes: Aromas of cherry, plum, cranberry, pomegranate and smoke. Flavors of plum, black cherry and red fruit compote. Rich and fleshy in the mouth with soft tannins and persistent flavor. Easy to drink on its own, or to match with food. Food Pairing: Lamb, duck, salmon and charcuterie.
