"Jean-Francois Bordet continues to drive his domaine forward. Using cylindrical, horizontal tanks for improved skin-contact, this is a highly appealing Chablis which balances acidity, concentration of ripe fruit and a lovely subtle under-tow of salinity. A crisp, fresh Chablis which will drink well from young, but also age."
"Screwcap. Very stony aroma, the citrus in the lemon–lime spectrum but with a subtle creamy (lees) overlay. Deep in fruit on the palate, really quite full bodied (for Chablis) without losing the dusty Chablis texture. GV *good value* (JH)"
Vinous Reverie Notes
Winemaker Notes: Very pretty pale golden yellow in color with light greenish glints. Bright, luminous and limpid. The nose is reminiscent of the scented freshness of a lovely summer’s morning. The taste is perfect harmony of maturity, mellowness and vivacity. The flowers and fruit reappear, enhanced by charming biscuity notes. The mineral touch, fine and airy, shows through well on the finish to accompany our thirst and pleasure right to the end.
