Product Description
90 points Burghound
"There is enough reduction present to knock down the nose but there is good freshness and verve to the attractively voluminus flavors that possess a seductive mouth feel before concluding in a dry, clean, linear and very clean finish of solid depth and length for a villages level wine."
Jancis Robinson
"Lively aroma – even has a touch of ginger along with the minerals and citrus. Then complex and rich on the palate – creamy, savoury oak though not at the expense of the fruit. Deliciously alive and energetic. 17/20 points. (JH)"
Vinous Reverie Notes
The estate takes care of three plots located in three different climates of Meursault: Les Forges: towards Monthelie, shallow land dotted with small pebbles. Les Pellans: near Les Charmes, south of Meursault near Puligny, gravelly soils. Les Chaumes: fairly stony land located between Blagny and Les Narvaux, at the top of the hill. The Meursault Pierre Morey cuvee generally comes from the blend of these three localities, which gives a balanced wine typical of the appellation: dry and mellow at the same time, ample, racy and fruity.
