Vinous Reverie Notes
Mountain-grown Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvèdre from the Languedoc’s famed Pic-Saint-Loup appellation makes for one luscious, garrigue-scented rosé. A classic pale salmon color, this is juicy but also blessed with a firm backbone thanks to the limestone soils and wide diurnal temperature shifts this region is known for. Its herbal component may remind you of some of its Provençal cousins. This wine is produced through a direct pressing of the grapes, it displays a pale, salmon colored hue that leads into a wine with excellent finesse and crisp acidity. Delicate notes of crushed berry and violets make for an intriguing nose. Bright acidity and minerals provide great freshness and length in the mouth.
