"One of the top climats, or vineyard sites, of Morgon has delivered this richly endowed wine. Firm tannins are still very present, giving serious structure to the wine at this stage. It will always have a framework, but black-currant flavors will develop well to give an attractive wine from 2021."
Vinous Reverie Notes
Soil: "Rotten rock" made up of old iron oxide and manganese sediments from crumbling pyritic schist. Age of Vines: 50 years old. Tasting Notes: This very specific terroir gives stone fruit aromas flavors (cherry, peach and plum) and a deep ruby robe. This is a generous and powerful wine. Food Pairing: The perfect partner to coq au vin, beeff bourguignon, and your favorite cheeses.
