90 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
"All grapes are harvested by hand and carefully sorted both in the field and on arrival at the vineyard. Maceration and fermentation takes place in temperature controlled steel tanks over 18-25 days with 2 daily stirrings to extract the maximum flavors and dyes. Then stored for approx. 10 months in advance on cement tanks before bottling without clarification and filtration."
"70% old-vine Grenache, 20% Mourvèdre, 10% old-vine Carignan. Tank sample.
Minty and lively on the nose. Sweet palate entry with some tarriness. Fine and dense. 16.5/20 points."
Vinous Reverie Notes
Tasting Notes: Deep red with purple hues. Beautiful shine. Intense and complex nose, lots of black fruits and spices with some hints of garrigue. The nose is very opulent, explosive. Notes of cocoa, licorice give a lot of complexity. The palate is very supple, smooth. Well-melted tannins give body. A powerful wine without heaviness. Drink now or wait another 3 to 7 years. Grape: Grenache, Mourvèdre, Carignan. Soils: Grenache on terroir des Garrigues (old terraces) Carignan and mourvèdre on white cliffs southern slopes. Harvest: Exclusively manual, to allow sorting in the vineyard and another sort at the entrance of the cellar.
