"Full bottle all of 1,560 g. Blend of 70% Kisi, 20% Mtsvane and 10% Rkatsiteli grown on the Dakishvili family estate in the village of Kondoli in Kakheti fermented separately in qvevri for six months. Unfiltered.
Bright golden orange. (It says 'Amber' in big letters on the front label.) Interesting savoury, dry-spicy (cumin?) nose – not the golden syrup note found on several of its peers. Serious, well-constructed wine with great balance and integrity. Bone-dry, sandy-textured, long finish with both fruit and Georgian character on the way there. This would probably partner a wide range of foods. 17/20 points."
Vinous Reverie Notes
The wine is made in the traditional Georgian way. Which means it is made and preserved in earthenware jugs, Qvevri. The taste cis fresh with a rich bouquet of aromas. The amber colored cuvee is made from the Kisi, Rkatsiteli and Mtsvane grapes. Food Pairing: excellent with fish dishes and sushi in particular.
