"Light, bright red. Perfumed aromas of raspberry, rose oil, cola and smoky minerals. Sweet, spicy and supple, with a peppery nuance adding lift to the strawberry, raspberry and mineral flavors. Sweet and approachable wine in a Pinot-like style. Clings impressively on the finish, which features soft tannins and lingering spiciness. These vines range from 50 to 80 years of age."

"Comando G is a project focused around top quality Garnacha based wines. This 2012 is an exceptional effort from winemakers Daniel Jimenez-Landi, Fernando Garcia and Marc Isart. 100% Garnacha from 50-80 year-old vines planted in soils which are composed of granite and sand. The nose is very elegant with lots of pure red fruit, dark chocolate, black pepper, stewed cherries, fresh cut roses and fresh mineral. This is well made with lots of structure and a lovely elegant character, it will however require some short-term cellaring beofre it will hit full-stride. (Best 2017-2027)"
Vinous Reverie Notes
Comando G’s “village” wine, La Bruja de Rozas is sourced from several vineyards in the vicinity of Las Rozas de Puerto Real. Pure Garnacha from granitic sand, La Bruja is perfumed and lively with plenty of fruit with a backbone of acidity and fine tannin. Hand harvested, natural yeast fermentation and a long maceration followed by nine months in oak vats.
