"58% Merlot, 28% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot. Very late harvest, yet grapes were picked at less-than-optimum ripeness and the skins were very fragile, necessitating a very slow, gentle extraction.
Mid garnet, good colour. Rather a shy little thing on the nose but fresh and gentle. Mouth-filling. Very correct and fresh. Stony finish. Very charming."
