"Blossomy and berried, the nose is as lovely as the palate of this perfumed dry rosé. Crisp but concentrated black cherry and raspberry flavors persist, tinged by savory herbs and a hint of tannin on the finish. An elegant, sturdy rosé, it stands up well to food and should hold up well beyond the summer." *Editor's Choice*

"A relatively dark pink rosé, the 2018 La Nerthe Cotes du Rhone Rose Les Cassagnes is a blend of 50% Grenache, 30% Mourvèdre and 20% Cinsault, the trio of Southern Rhône varieties that seem best suited to rosé production. Cherries and dried spices appear on the nose, followed by a medium-bodied, fleshy wine that's silky, mouthwatering and refreshing, with just a hint of warmth on the finish."

"Shimmering orange. Red currant, raspberry and rhubarb pick up a smoky mineral overtone as the wine opens up. Concentrated red fruit, blood orange and lavender pastille flavors show good clarity, minerally lift and a touch of spiciness. Rich yet lively in character, delivering solid closing thrust, repeating florality and no rough edges."
Vinous Reverie Notes
Produced in Tavel, the heart of the Rhone Valley’s rosé production, this Cotes-du-Rhone rosé is crafted from 30+ year old vineyards planted in soils rich with calcareous sandstone and positioned on gently undulating slopes for optimal sun exposure. Tasting Notes: The color is pale pink fuchsia, very bright. The nose is frank, lively, expressive, on white flowers and citrus fruits (pink grapefruit). The palate is fresh and the gooseberry meets again the grapefruit. A wine of great freshness and easy pleasure! Food Pairing: A versatile companion to many styles of cuisine. Enjoy with cheeses and fruit or pair with salmon dishes, poultry in light to medium weight sauces, and fresh salads.
