Description
90 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
"A blend of 45% Carignan, 30% Grenache, 15% Syrah and 10% Mourvèdre, the 2019 Corbieres Jeremie offers scents of licorice, peppercorn, raspberries and black-skinned plums. It's medium to full-bodied, with ripe, supple tannins, a bit of creaminess on the mid-palate and a spice-driven finish."
Vinous Reverie Notes
Blend: 30% Grenache, 30% Carignane, 25% Syrah, 15% Mourvedre. The 2019 is a typical Rhone-style red blend sourced from a vineyard in the middle of the Corbieres wine region. Founded in 1876, the chateau is situated in the middle of the pretty, traditional village of Fabrezan and is notable for its imposing medieval tower. This is a full-bodied wine with aromas of plum, raspberry, and blackberry, and mostly berry fruit flavors with a hint of herbs and black olives, finishing with dusty tannins.
