Description
90 points Wine Advocate
"A blend of 90% Grenache Noir, 5% Syrah and 5% Mourvdre, the 2022 Chateauneuf du Pape from Cellier des Princes, the co-operative of Chteauneuf-du-Pape, exhales a delicate, fresh and gourmand bouquet of strawberries, cherries, violet and garrigue. Medium-bodied, round and supple, it's juicy and enrobing with a penetrating, fresh finish. This is a classic."
90 points James Suckling
"A rich, creamy and smoky red with blackberries, dark cherries, baking spices and hints of kirsch on the nose. Full body with plush tannins. Round with lots of dark berries on the generous palate. Quite chewy at the finish. Drink now."
Vinous Reverie Notes
Blend: Grenache 90%, Mourvèdre 5%, Syrah 5%. Round pebbles and sandy soils mostly from the village of Courthezon. North-East part of the Chateauneuf du Pape appellation. Tasting Notes: This cuvee made with organic grapes has been produced with respect for the environment. The wine is ruby-red in color, with an intense nose of blackberries and spices. Fruity and powerful on the palate, with elegant tannins and long aromatic persistence. Food Pairings: It will be appreciated with roasted meat, stew, game and will be perfect with cheese.
