“Light floral perfumes. Supple succulent palate with crisp acidity, warm melon, and passion fruit charm. Rich and mouth filling with an elegant mineral twist on the finish.”

"The Garnacha Blanca 2019 Botijo Blanco was produced with grapes from dry-farmed, head-pruned vines averaging 25 years of age and planted on limestone-rich, white soils. 2019 was a dry, warm and low-yielding year, when the grapes were picked on September 5th. It has moderate alcohol and notable acidity. It fermented with indigenous yeasts in concrete vats after a 24- to 30-hour cold soak and matured with lees for three to four months. It's has a clean, varietal nose (white flowers), nicely textured, with a chalky sensation and a tasty, almost salty finish. 25,400 bottles were filled in March 2020."
Vinous Reverie Notes
100% Garnacha Blanca. Handpicked grapes from a dry farmed, certified organic vineyard with 25 year old vines. The soils are clay and sandstone with some pebbles at 450 meters elevation. Tasting Notes: Garnacha Blanca can tend toward the heavy, oxidative side but with meticulous care in the vineyards (organic, dry farmed), harvesting early and a non-interventional approach in the winery, the Botijo Blanco coaxes out the vibrant citrus side of the varietal. A fresh, elegant surprise for sure and one that will stump even the best blind tasters.
