91 points Vinous
"Light, glistening straw color. Incisive scents of lemon pith, pear skin, ginger and dusty minerals take on floral and herb accents with air. Sharply focused and vibrant on the palate, offering chewy citrus and orchard fruit flavors complemented by bitter quinine and bay leaf nuances. Finishes taut, focused and long, leaving echoing citrus fruit and floral notes behind."
Vinous Reverie Notes
The village of La Seca is considered the Grand Cru of Rueda and it makes sense that most of the region's oldest vines are found in this commune. With a focus almost entirely on the aforementioned old vines, Bodegas Naia brought attention to La Seca twenty years ago and still make bone-dry, classical 100% Verdejo.
