On a slope of 40 to 50%, this granite Clos of 42 acres, is located between 350 and 400 meters above sea level and overlooks the village of Wettolsheim. In an exceptional environment, surrounded by woods which provide a cool and temperate microclimate, the alliance of the geological and climatic characteristics of this Clos gives this wine a remarkable crystalline and saline dynamic. Tasting Notes: Flinty reduction and aromatic red apple meet on the nose of this wine. The palate shows apple freshness that tingles with salty yeast around the edges. That saltiness makes the bright finish irresistible.
