"This rich, densely textured wine is impressively ripe. Its tannins are still young and will sustain further development. With plenty of red cherry fruitiness to balance the structure, it will age further. Drink from 2022." *Cellar Selection*
Vinous Reverie Notes
Domaine Antonin Guyon is one of the most prestigious estates in the Côte d’Or, as well as one of the largest family-owned wineries in the region. It was started in the 1960s by Antonin Guyon with parcels of land in Gevrey and Meursault. Today, the massive 47 hectare property is controlled and operated today by Antonin’s sons, Dominique and Michel and produces wines of impeccable quality from 15 different appellations, which includes many renowned villages from the region. The Dominique Guyon Hautes Cotes de Nuits vineyards are located on south facing slopes in Meuilley, in the hills above Nuits-Saint-George, an area well-known for the quality of its wines. The soils here are limestone, rock with some clay. Tasting Notes: Ruby red, with purple tints, is full of aromas of fresh fruit. Elegant, delicious and well-crafted with a creamy texture, this wine is ready for drinking now or can be kept for up to five years. Food Pairing: Ideal with red meats, roasted meats and most cheeses.
