93 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
"The 2018 Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast is a blend of wine from the Anthill Farms single-vineyard cuvées, made with about 15% to 20% new French and Austrian oak and 40% whole clusters. Medium ruby-purple, it has pure scents of cranberries, blackberries, black tea leaves, fragrant earth and garrigue. In the mouth, it's concentrated but light on its feet with a silky texture, floral fruits, seamless freshness and a long finish."

"The Anthill team makes several single-vineyard wines from sites in the coastal Sebastopol Hills and in Annapolis, on Sonoma’s far north coast. This bottling is a blend of fruit from those sites, and while it may be less distinctive than the solo bottlings, it doesn’t feel like a lesser selection. The brightness of the wine evokes the Pacific wind, kicking the fruit’s sunny glow into high-toned strawberry, mint and Bing cherry flavors while the tannins act like crystals refracting the bright fruit."

"The 2018 Pinot Noir (Sonoma Coast) is a pretty big, dark wine relative to prior editions. Dark cherry, plum, lavender, sage, spice and menthol shape this brooding appellation-level Pinot from Anthill Farms. Readers will find an especially potent, virile Pinot with tons of character."

"Blend of vineyards at an elevation of 270–450 m. 40% whole cluster, 20% new French barrels. 780 cases.
Pale, slightly greyish crimson. Light nose and a very nice blend of sweet raspberry fruit with lots of (but not too much) acidity. Very pretty indeed. Clean and fresh. Delicate. Long."
Vinous Reverie Notes
Winery: We love the inviting translucent ruby cast of this wine. The telltale wet soil aromas of Anderson Valley lift out of the glass before its core of red cherry, redwood tips and intense spice emerge. Such a pleasure to drink this supple and elegant wine as the emollient texture comes out with air while the structure keeps it fresh and focused. Drink over the next 8 years.
