Product Description
92 points Decanter
"If you are looking to impress your guests with fizz over the festive season and save some cash too, then look no further. This bone-dry bubbly is fresh and pure and expresses great finesse of lime and apple fruit mingled with subtle yeasty notes. The 12 months on its lees with a small proportion of the wine also aged in oak adds complexity and texture."
Jancis Robinson
"8-9 months on the lees after first fermentation, 20% in oak barrels. Then 12-14 on lees after the second fermentation.Hard to taste this after the grand cru burgundies. But it stands out for a lovely autolytic toasty nose. Fresh, broad and generous but with balancing backbone of tension and acidity. Bone dry and intense, with impressive length. 16.5/20 points." (JH)
Vinous Reverie Notes
Tasting Notes: Very fine, even bubbles. Discreet hints of white blossoms and a nice minerality. It is lively and the mouth is fresh and delicate. This Crémant Blanc de Blancs is the purest expression of its terroir. Food Pairing: Ideal for a festive aperitif, it will also perfectly go with seafood or even desserts, like a red berry sabayon.
