Gomez Cruzado, Blanco Rioja 2017
91 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
"Their entry-level white 2017 Blanco 2º Año is a blend of Viura with 25% Tempranillo Blanco from a year marked by frost followed by heat and low yields, which meant an early harvest. They want this to be their classical white, and it has an old-style label, aiming at the whites that were produced before. A blend of vineyards in Haro, it fermented in stainless steel and matured in a combination of oak barrels and concrete vats with the lees for five months. It's clean and spicy, with a medium-bodied palate and good freshness, with nuance and complexity provided by the longer élevage and with moderate influence from the oak. This should develop nicely in bottle. 33,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in July 2018."
MOB, Branco 2015
92 points Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
"The 2015 Branco is a 70/30 blend of Encruzado and Bical, aged for 10 months in a 60/40 mixture of used and new French oak. It comes in at 13.5% alcohol. Fresh, piercing and very much emphasizing its acidity, this is impressive for its long and gripping finish, concentration and freshness. There was a touch of flint up front, but that should blow off. The wood is barely noticeable. This is a potential beauty that should age well. It is priced very nice, too.”
Tiberio, Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo 2017
92 points Vinous
"Bright deep pink. Musky aromas and flavors of dried cherry and rhubarb, with hints of licorice and herbs adding complexity. Broad and deep on the palate, displaying a chewy, fleshy texture typical of the hot year but also very good freshness. Finishes with serious grip and lingering florality."
Eric Kent, Rose Sonoma Coast 2018
91 points Wine Enthusiast
"Dark ruby red in color, this is rich combination of 87% Pinot Noir with 8% Syrah and 5% Grenache. Bright, well-composed flavors of grapefruit, orange and meaty dried herb make for a medium-bodied experience of exuberance and power."
Le Paradou, Cotes de Provence Rose 2018
91 points Jeb Dunnuck
"This beauty is a quintessential rose and offers ripe yet vivid notes of honeydew melon, crisp white peach, limestone like minerality , and subtle salty, sea breeze-like aromas and flavors. It's beautifully balanced, has terrific purity, high yet integrated acidity, and dry finish. It's a no brainer and a beautiful dry Provencal rose."
