"The wine has a mouthwatering finish, juicy and refreshing, with a crisp edge. It also has beautiful fruit, ripe but restrainied."

"This blend of Arinto and Azal comes from one of the southern regions of Vinho Verde, near the town of Amarante. Its acidity and pepper touches are typical of the blend, giving intense acidity and a crisp aftertaste."
"Sem Igual means 'without equal'. A new project started by Joao Camizão, 4th-generation wine producer, who after three years in the IT world in India, decided to come back inspired to create Sem Igual with the support of his family. Attractive bright light blue modern label. 70% Arinto, 30% Azal. Fermented in tank and then eight months in tank. TA 7.2 g/l, pH 3.4, RS 1.5 g/l.
There's intense clean-cut citrus - more grapefruit than lemon – on the nose as well as gentle stony spice and a creamy note. Surprisingly complex though quite delicate. On the palate, an unusual combination of both softness and freshness. It's rounded and textured in the mouth and yet still crisp on the finish. Juicy and persistent. 16.5/20 points. (JH)"
