16.5 points Jancis Robinson
"Very fresh on the nose with real energy. Quite a contrast with the Casa de Mouraz Dão 2013 tasted immediately before! Bone-dry end. Appetisingly energetic. 16.5/20 points." (9/2017)
Medium concentration ruby color. As the previous editions, the aroma is elegant, with black fruit, spices, reminding black pepper, floral notes, and a balsamic profile. With a good volume in the mouth, shows a mineral profile, full of wild fruit and spice notes, very common in the Dão classic wines. The acidity is in perfect harmony with the fresh fruit. The ageing in cement vats provides a very fresh and elegant finish with good persistence.
